This Adelle Ascherin for Channel 7 News at the parliament building within the Royal City of Edinboro.
There are reports coming in from north of the capital that former Prime Minister Demming has escaped custody with several of her supporters. An insider within the government states that she and her supporters were being transported from Fort Sylvia to a court at the Royal Palace. It had been widely suspected that the Grand Duke would grant the former Prime Minister a hearing admit claims that he was denying her the due process she deserved. However midway between the fort and the palace, the convoy was attacked by unknown forces.
What we know at this hour that a half of dozen policemen are done and several dozen are injured. Several of the attackers were shot dead by police during the escaped, however the Prime Minister and four to eight of her supports remain missing. The…
::She pauses for a moment::
Yes, we are going to go to Gunther Daniels near the sight of the attack.
::Cut to Gunther::
Thank you Adelle. I am here with Mr. John J. Schmitt who witnessed some of the attack. Mr. Schmitt, can you tell me what you heard and saw.
Well I was sitting out here on the deck playing cards with my friends when we heard a loud explosion. At first we thought it was our neighbor playing with some dynamite. But then we heard a lot of gunfire with some more explosions. We ran inside but as we looked out the window we saw a group of people running, and I said to Frank, “That looks like that crazy Demming girl.” They ran into a field behind those trees and a helicopter rose up and took off. That’s when the gunfire pretty much died off.
That’s amazing. Well Adelle…some officers have shown up and have asked us to stop broadcasting.. so we are going to throw it back to you.
::Cut to Adelle::
Thank you Gunther. At this moment there is no official word from the Grand Duke, but we will surely hear from him soon.
This is Adelle Ascherin for Channel 7 News.

Location: The Royal Palace
A CH-53E Super Stallion buzzes over the buildings and lands on a pad outside of the palace. The palace it self it ringed with troops of the Beejayan 3rd Heavy Guards which has been on alert since the escape of the former Prime Minister. As the heavy doors swung opened out walked Grand Duke Berkley with twenty of his person guard. Everyone, including him, were visibly armed. Being saluted by guards alike the Grand Duke walked into his main meeting hall where his “Wild Cards” were assembled.
“How in the hell did this happen?” the Grand Duke asked sitting down in a leather chair.
“It seems that someone forged the orders for her to be transproted,” Baron Ruby answered. “It seems her former supporters have been setting this up for quite sometime. We are pretty confident that she isn’t in the country. But now we are trying to track down where she went. We think that perhaps she might have seeked aslyumn in another country.”
“If that is so,” Duchess Celeya interjected, “We should bring this before the regional council. The Prime Minister is a enemy of the state and should be turned over to us.”
“And if they don’t,” Baron Walrus added,” Then we should attack. And we should attack as hard as possible to show we mean buisness.”
The Grand Duke shook his head, “I am not attacking unless there is no choice. Nevertheless I want to keep all of my options open. Walrus… mobilize the army. I want jets in the air and AWACS planes monitoring all traffic in-“
Outside the helicopter the Grand Duke had arrived exploded, blowing out the windows and knocking everyone to the ground. The Royal Guard soon burst into the room to check on everyone. Fortuantely everyone was alright. The Grand Duke stood up and slammed his fist down.
“Bring a crew in and show the people of Beejaya what has happened here.” He looked to his top people, covered with glass from the apparent assissination attempt. “This is what I want. I want the airport closed, the borders sealed, curfew implimented The Prime Minister is attempting a coup. Call up all active units and have them deployed to the cities incase they try anything else. Make it happen.”
The Grand Duke’s associates nodded and ran off to follow his orders. The Grand Duke looked out the shattered window and saw crew run to the burning shell of the helicopter to put out the fire. “And find Demming!”

And now... A message from his Highness Grand Duke Berkley.
::The Grand Duke, flanked by members of his "Wild Cards" approaches the mic::
Citizens of Beejaya.... as I am sure all of you know by now, a week ago the former Prime Minister, Ms. Demming escaped from custody, killing several law enforcement officers in the process. I need not remind you how close she plunged this nation into civil war or how her policies wrecked the economy.
For the last week members of the B.I.S. have searched throughout the country for her whereabouts. We have come to the conclusion that she is no longer in the country. However... she still remains in the region. Having intercepted several communications, we now know where she is located. Rest assured agents of the B.I.S. are carefully monitoring her movements.
However, at this time we will not bring her back to Beejaya... as that would violate the rights of our neighbor, who at this time shall remain unnamed. Nevertheless, I urge this nation to detain Ms. Demming, her supporters, and turn her over to Beejayan authorities as soon as possible.
Deny our request, and we will bring evidence of your involvement to light. The consequences of which, would be most unpleasant.
::The Grand Duke leaves the mic to a flurry of questions from reporters, but he answers none. Instead, being flanked by his top associates, he returns into the palace. Already, news agencies are speculating what un-named nation the Grand Duke was hinting::

Our Agents at Pleibostian Yard have received a tape that we believe would help your effort in your search for your former Prime Minister. Unfortunately internal laws forbid us from handing over such evidence in all but the most extreme cases. Our policy looks at these cases as such, "One mans terrorist is anothers freedom fighter." We would not want to hinder your quest for a true criminal, but it is exactly that which we question. In AkebonoBambusa we are innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof rests in your hands. We would not want to be held responsible for the wrongful prosecution of a true political refugee.
Please list your allegations
Respectfully Horatio Alger, Ministry of Information, AkebonoBambusa

The crimes the former Prime Minister has committed are crimes against the state of Beejaya. Here is the crimes she has committed. Her guilt is certain in most of these charges as most of this was broadcasted on live TV when it occurred.
* Declared herself Grand Duchess of Beejaya when she had no legal right. * Took command of the Beejayan Military in violation of Beejayan Law * Ordered the execution of the current Grand Duke without trial. * Encouraged civil disorder by ordering troops in front of the palace to shoot protesters. * During her escape, responsible for the deaths of several law enforcement officers. * May be involved in the bombing of the Grand Duke's Helicopter moments after he departed. * Has encourage the general uprising the population against the legal government of Beejaya.
Although this is no crime, she is generally considered responsible for the economic crisis when she was Prime Minister.
On behalf of the Grand Duke, I thank the people of the Grand Duchy of AkebonoBambusa for their assistance in the apprehension of this criminal as it will make the entire region safer once she is in custody.
With Respects,
Duchess Ceyela Minister of Diplomatic Affairs G.D. of Beejaya

Location: The Royal Palace, Inside The Grand Duke's Office.
::The Grand Duke paces around his desk as a phone sits there quiet. Sitting on various chairs and couches are his closest aides. Duchess Celeya, Baroness Ruby, Baron Walrus, Prince Hollmitch, and Duchess Leigh. As always, when in private they refer to each other by their old code names::
Ace:: How long has it been since the message from Mr. Alger?
Angel:: Several hours.
Ace:: Hmph. I hate waiting. The longer we wait the more time Demming has to subvert the country. How confident are we in our armed forces? In terms of their loyalty?
Walrus:: All supporters of Demming were purged. They are 100% loyal to you. If she does decide to start something it will be with outside help. ::He paused for a moment and rose walking over to Ace:: What do we do if they refuse to hand her over?
Lucky:: We need to make sure that this information is confirmed first before we decide a course of action. We don't want to send any wrong signals. I know what you want to do Walrus. You want to roll tanks down the streets...
::Walrus interrupts: It does get the job done.
::Ace sits on his desk and clears his throat:: Quiet. No one is rolling tanks down anyone's street tonight. If the information is confirmed by Mr. Alger we will go public. Surely the region will not support a country that his harboring a threat to it's stability. The country will surely cave in and give us back our former Prime Minister. And if they don't.... ::He smiles ever so gently, picking up a glass of water and sipping it:: If they don't then we'll take it from there. I am not concerned whether or not if we can get Demming. I know I could send agents or tanks in with little problems.
El Prez:: Then what are you worried about? You know my agents could get to her.
Hollywood:: My friends... I do believe The Grand Duke is worried about regional politics. ::He laughs standing and walking over to the roaring fire:: I remembered a time when Ace would throw rules to the wind and with his trusted team they would go in do what they felt was right and then leave. What is the difference between then and now Grand Duke?
::Ace went around his desk with a grin and sat in the chair... leaning back in it he eyed up Hollywood:: You have the advantage of not having to sit in this chair. We could certainly go in... and take care of this problem. We did what we did because we didn't have to deal with the problems we created. Our boss dealt with that. Now we are in charge and for the time being we will show restraint. Things change.
::Angel chimed in, having not said much in this meeting:: Restraint we will show. But bold we will be as well. If diplomacy fails, then we will take appropriate action. Patience...
::Ace:: Is a virtue.
::Hollywood:: The more the things change...
::Lucky:: The more they stay the same.
::They all share a chuckle. Ace:: Agreed. We will wait to confirm our information. In the mean time... all of you... make appropriate preparations for all options.

Since it is I that have been speaking to you regarding this issue, the courts have decided that it is I that is to give you AkebonoBambusa's response to the initial inquiry.
To help in the understanding of the following events here are the policies that are under question before us. These have been taken from our basic principles.
1.) AkebonoBambusa being a small nation deems that it would be better served if it would remain neutral in most incidences. Extreme cases are allowed but only after being reviewed by which ever council presides over that juridiction. This is to promote business as well as banking interests in the country.
2.) Criminality is something that we don't take lightly. It is the position of the government to create less criminals not more of them. This reduces court costs, prison costs, and promotes a happy populace which produces more and thus pays more taxes.
3.) Political Asylum will be granted in all cases unless they fall into one of the following categories. A.) They are a danger to AkebonoBambusa or its people, financial institutions, or industry. B.) They have been shown to commit crimes against humanity. C.) They have commited a crime previously in AkebonoBambusa and are wanted for arrest.
These principles are why we are taking this matter very seriously as our founders have fought very hard to provide us with many political freedoms and we want to extend these rights to our visitors, even if their home countries do not protect them.
I am providing to you the results from the Tribunal.
***
The Gnostic Order of the Abaraxas the Fully Elected Tribunal in Charge of Internation Disputes convenes on this the 10th day of December 2005, Gentleman Hawthorne presiding.
The Gnostic Order is hereby put in the position to balance the demands of the Grand Duchy of Beejaya and that countries former duly elected Prime Minister Demming. This is not where we want to be but this is where the fates have placed us.
We have here a list of Allegation against the Prime Minister which would be the evidence that we are using to determine asylum eligilibility.
* Declared herself Grand Duchess of Beejaya when she had no legal right. * Took command of the Beejayan Military in violation of Beejayan Law
In light of the current instability that exists in the GD of Beejaya this allegation is seen as symbolic rather than legally binding. When the former Grand Duke was run out of the country the Prime Minister was doing what she was being elected to do, keep order. It seems that she as an elected official was a more reasonable choice to lead the government during these times then someone designated by birth. As outsiders it seems that the nobility of the GD of Beejaya should have supported the Prime Minister until elections could be carried out. This is the opinion of the Gnostic Order.
* Ordered the execution of the current Grand Duke without trial.
It is the difficult position of the Gnostic Order to consider the current Grand Duke an usurper. While we cannot comment on this and while we recognize the current government of the GD of Beejaya we believe that the true power of governance lies with the people. Since it is understood that the current Grand Duke has or would have ordered the execution of the Prime Minister we consider this tit for tat, thus null and void. This is the Opinion of the Gnostic Order.
* During her escape, responsible for the deaths of several law enforcement officers. * May be involved in the bombing of the Grand Duke's Helicopter moments after he departed.
These do not represent crimes against humanity or crimes against AkebonoBambusa or its people. These are internal disputes and can be seen as the desperate acts of a persecuted individual. As much as we regret the deaths and destruction of property we do not see this as a reason to disallow asylum. This is the opinion of the Gnostic Order.
* Has encourage the general uprising the population against the legal government of Beejaya.
Evidence of the Prime Ministers involvment here is needed but there is evidence of the general disapproval of the government by the populace and would not need the encouragement of the Prime Minister. This is the opinion of the Gnostic Order.
* Encouraged civil disorder by ordering troops in front of the palace to shoot protesters.
This is the only evidence that we have seen that would forbid us from granting asylum. We do not take the destruction of human life lightly especially that of the populace while practicing the freedom of speech. If this turns out to be true we would have a difficult descision. Most likely that would mean a granted asylum but only under house arrest. All assets would become property of the state. Asylum would be granted as the mood of the mob would present a reason for the Prime Minister to fear for her life. But we would not allow her remaining days to be free. This is the opinion of the Gnostic Order.
In this response the Gnostic Order has decided that it would be to the benefit of the two countries involved as well as the region as a whole to list the Allegations against the Current Grand Duke of Beejaya and his party by the Prime Minister Demming. These allegations appeared on the tape that was recieved by the Ministry of Information. These were given by the Prime Minister and not interpreted by the Ministry or the Gnostic Order.
*PM Demming was exposed to tortuous conditions. Extremes of temperatures, lack of adequate food and water, and neglect of hygenic conditions that even the worst criminals should be given. *The Prime Minister being an elected official has a duty to those that elected her. Nobles have a duty to no one but their blood and thus can act as they will. This is a disgrace to the electorial process. *Disposing the true Grand Duke was an act of conspiracy.
It is the opinion of the Gnostic Order during this session that the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Beejaya be given temporary asylum within the borders of AkebonoBambusa. She will remain under house arrest until after a trial to find guilt regarding the shooting of innocent protesters outside of the palace of Beejaya's walls. If no guilt is found then she will be allowed to remain in AkebonoBambusa until she see fit to leave. It is the opinion of the Gnostic Order that regardless of the outcome that she should be release from duty as the Prime Minister and new elections should take place as soon as possible in Beejaya. Of course we understand that we have no control of these matters it is just our opinion. We will not transport the Prime Minister to Beejaya for a trial as we believe a change in venue is in order. A neutral state should preside over these hearings. AkebonoBambusa will host Beejaya's legal force if need be, but we would like for it to be held in another state for true neutrality.
The Gnostic Order of the Abaraxas
******
This was the Tribunal's response to both your allegations, and the Prime Minister's taped plea for asylum. We hope that this pleases you that we have placed the Prime Minister under arrest but we do not believe that two wrongs make a right, thus we cannot deliver her into your hands as that would be placing her in mortal danger. Rest easy in knowing that she will be given only the rights of that of a serial killer, food drink and a walk in the yard. Beyond that we wait for the trial.
Good Day Respectfully Horatio Alger, Ministry of Information, AkebonoBambusa

ABBS News
Martin Berkshire Reporting
It has come to light that our beloved nation has decided to grant asylum to a political refugee from the Grand Duchy of Beejaya. The Gnostic Order in a closed door session has granted temporary asylum.
Our leader Akebono has, in a press conference, told us that this is the only way that we could see that justice will be served. He went further to explain that we are not sure what the Grand Duke of Beejaya's response would be to this as he has pressures coming at him from many fronts.
ABBS News has learned that in response to the unpredictable nature of these precedings and in an attempt to allow justice to preveil the borders of AkebonoBambusa have been strengthened although not closed. It has also been learned that late last night the former Prime Minister has been transported to a remote prison in the center of the country. This it seems is to ensure her safety so that she survives until her trial.

::Ace sighs gently leaning back in his chair. Using his feet he spins around in his chair a few times, merely for his own entertainment:: Do either one of you know the difference between a dictatorship and a democracy?
::Walrus:: The spelling?
::Ace laughs and sits up in his chair looking over the report from The Gnostic Order of the Abaraxas::
::Walrus:: Reports say that they have strengthened their borders with patrols. But, it isn't anything we can't handle. We could still bomb them until they give us back Demming.
::Ace:: Tempting but no. Although I find this report somewhat insulting, lets not bomb first and ask questions later. Not yet. However, I want you to scramble our fighters and put our bomber crews on standby. Make sure that this is.... ::Ace smiled ever so gently:: Noticed. I want you to match their border strengthening movements. For every extra man they put on the border, put two.
::Walrus stood up and saluted:: As you wish, Your Highness. ::He exits and begins to execute Ace's orders.::
::Angel:: Do you think fighters in the air needed?
::Ace:: No, but I am rather pissed. Have you read this "report" that was sent over?
::Angel smiles and shakes her head:: I skimmed over it.
::Ace:: Let me read you this:
"In light of the current instability that exists in the GD of Beejaya this allegation is seen as symbolic rather than legally binding. This is the opinion of the Gnostic Order."
::Ace tosses the report back onto the table:: Do you even believe this? This country has never been better... crime is down...everyone gets 20 years of free education. The economy is strong. Obviously this Gnostic Order has been tainted by this former Prime Minister. I find it insulting that this report thinks that I shouldn't be the Grand Duke.
::Angel:: So do you want to do?
::Ace:: Release this report to the public, the news, to the parliament. Let us see what the public reaction is this.

**** Breaking News ****
This is Adelle Ascherin for Channel 7 News. I am outside the consulate for the G.D. of AkebonoBambusa where about a thousand protesters are holding a rally outside. As you can see the signs read "Return the criminal" and "AkebonoBambusa supports terrorists."
Earlier today the government released the report that it was sent regarding the former Prime Minister. Reports of protests have been coming in from all over the country. The Grand Duke has moved swiftly and deployed police around the consulate to ensure the safety of the foreign diplomats. Earlier today, some protesters attempted to scale the wall, but were brought down by police. Now, there is a hundred yard buffer between the protesters and the consulate.
The Parliament of Beejaya passed a resolution condemning the report and supporting the current Grand Duke. In addition several units from the Beejaya Military have been activated and moved to the border after reports of increased activity on the other side was received.
As this report was released, the Grand Duke himself made this statement:
:Cut to tape of the Grand Duke:
As you will all see after reading this report, this report of opinions makes a mockery of our country. I have never been as proud of my people then I am now. Look at the progress we have made. No other country spends as much money on education then we do. Employment is up. Crime is down. I apologize for nothing that I have done for the betterment of my people. This report that I hold in my hand says it is their opinion that I, as well as the rest of the nobility of this land, should have rushed to support to support the elected official of this land.
Let me make this perfectly clear to AkebonoBambusa and any other nation that may be taking interest in this matter. I will never support any elected official that is reckless and drives this country into chaos. As a noble of this country, the people come first, not the government. If AkebonoBambusa wants to see what the Prime Minister has done, I suggest they talk less to her and look more at her record. Mass civil disorder, protester shot in the street, total disregard for the law are what the former Prime Minister can be congratulated for.
The only thing that I agree with in this report is that there was a conspiracy to oust the last Grand Duke. That is true. That conspiracy was put into action by the Former Prime Minister so she could seize control.
But BY LAW... I was next in line to take the throne and I did. As much as I did like the last Grand Duke, he abandoned his people... which I refuse to do.
I, The Grand Duke of Beejaya, leave you this statement written by the The Gnostic Order of the Abaraxas in response of the assassination attempt on my life by the former Prime Minister.
"These do not represent crimes against humanity or crimes against AkebonoBambusa or its people. These are internal disputes and can be seen as the desperate acts of a persecuted individual. As much as we regret the deaths and destruction of property we do not see this as a reason to disallow asylum. This is the opinion of the Gnostic Order."
I find this statement a personal insult to myself and our nation. Crimes have been committed. People have lost their lives. And asylum is to be granted? As Grand Duke, I am sorry that the these crimes do not seem to bother the people of AkebonoBambusa or it's leaders. But as Grand Duke I must state that these crimes were committed on Beejayan soil by a citizen of Beejaya. True, she has not been taken to trial. That process was beginning to start, but as you my have heard in the news, she shot her way out of jail and killed policemen to escape.
Long live Beejaya!
________________________________
As you can see the Grand Duke is quite passionate about the return of the former Prime Minister and--- I'm sorry.
::Adelle puts her hand up to her ear as she is recieving some information::
Channel 7 can report that the ambassador to the G.D. of AkebonoBambusa has been recalled. Yes, the ambassador moments ago bored a helicopter on the grounds of the embassy and has left to returned to the country.
It appears this crisis will not be solved any time soon.
Channel 7 will continue with updates as they become available. Later tonight, the government will issue it's official response to this report in written form.
This is Adelle Ascherin for Channel 7 news.

Heather Stark here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It seems that moments ago the abassador to the GD of Beejaya has landed and the Plebeian Order of International Interests, the ministry's oversight body wishes to hear from him as soon as he has landed. He is on his way there now.
*****
Ambassador Eleleth embassy to the GD of Beejaya opens this session to the Plebeian Order. I wish to describe my retreat from the capitol of Beejaya. The consulate there has been surrounded since the news that we are granting their former Prime Minister asylum. What disturbs me is that the protest was given all indications of being an impromptu demonstration, but I do not believe this to be true. As witnessed by me an several of my staff all the protesters were wearing the colors of the house of the Current Grand Duke. This in itself is of no consequence other than it shows that only the supporters of the Grand Duke turned out that day. The most disturbing evidence though was the simple observation that a good deal of the protesters were wearing millitary boots. This combined with the seemingly coordinated seige of the consulate leads me to believe that the protesters were members of the millitary and that this demonstration was staged for both the press of Beejaya and that of the rest of the region.
*****
This is definitely a strange turn of events and we will continue our investigation into these matters as well

SETTING: The SNQ Delegation Assembly
FOREMAN: The secretary general recognizes the honorable delegate from the Democratic Republic of Vitalinia.
[Ambassador General Zilativ rises from his seat and makes his way to the podium]
AG Zilativ: It has come to our nation's understanding that the sovereign nations of Beejaya and Akebono are locked in a diplomatic quandary regarding the situation with Former Prime Minister Demming of Beejaya. Therefore, for the sake of diplomatic and regional harmony, as the founder and delegate nation of the SNQ, we wish to act a neutral arbitrator in resolving this dispute.
With the permission of the nations of Beejaya, Akebono, and the member nations of the SNQ, we ask that Former Prime Minister Demming be extradited from Akebono and be transferred to the designated holding facilities of regional criminals in the Colony of Quagmire Region, the puppet nation of the SNQ. From there, we propose that she be tried according to regional jurisprudence as her crimes were committed within the jurisdiction of the SNQ.
Thank you.

::Duchess Celeya rises from her seat and makes her way to the podium.::
While this option is not our first, we would agree to this plan. However, it has been proven that the former Prime Minsiter will result to violence to escape from custody. Therefore, we request that an elite squad of soldiers from Beejaya accompany her to the prison. We'd also encourage that similar units from any other nations should be sent as well for the operation. The Grand Duchy of Beejaya would not want anyone to accuse that we were abusing the prisoner.
::The Duchess goes back to her seat and sits down, but as she sits an aide comes to her and whispers something in her ear. She immediately stands and excuses herself and leaves with the aide::

::Hollywood:: It's confirmed You Highness, police raided the warehouse about 30 minutes ago. Inside they found a cache of weapons and explosives. Early reports say that it was the same explosives used in the helicopter explosion last week.
::Ace:: Does it say where the country of origin is?
::Hollywood:: We are still anaylzing records. They seemed to have been sent through several countries. However, it is safe to say that a country within the SNQ region are suppling weapons to the former Prime Minister. I've informed El Prez, and the B.I.S. is currently working on it.
::Ace:: A country? Interesting.
::Ace picks up the phone and dials a number::
::Ace:: Walrus. Ace... I want all of our airborne assets primed and ready. Make sure we aren't open to any sort of suprise attacks. I don't like how this is playing out.

****ABBS News****
We here at ABBS News have recently learned that Beejaya has found a large cache of weapons. It seems that they have been connected in some way to their former Prime Minister's escape into AkebonoBambusa. Even more they seem to be trying to pin these weapons to a foreign power as if some other country would have anything to gain from her disposition and the Duke being crowned Grand Duke. It is the opinion of ABBS News that maybe the government should instead look internally for the source of these weapons as they have had a long history of arms manufacturing.

The SNQ Delegation Assembly
Ambassador Belias from AkebonoBambusa rises to take the stand.
I have been authorized by the people of AkebonoBambusa to hand over the Former Prime Minister of The GD of Beejaya to the Colony of Quagmire. We believe though, that in order to ensure her safety, that no soldiers from Beejaya be allowed to assist in this operation. We believe that both her over-zealous supporters and her former prison wardens come from Beejaya. A Beejayan force present would compromise all efforts for justice to be served. Therefore, we have no objection though to handing her over to the Colony's forces if they agreed to accept all liability.
Thank You that is all

_______________________________________________
This is Adelle Ascherin Channel 7 news.
Last night a cache of weapons was found in a warehouse within the Royal City of Edinboro. Later in the night, before the analysis of the evidence was completed, the ABBS News broke the story of this find and in an opinion segment of the news immediately wiped their hands clean of the matter, pointing the finger at the Grand Duchy of Beejaya.
Baron Ruby of the B.I.S. had this to say:
"I think we need to seriously consider hiring the ABBS to run the intelligence in Beejaya. They reported where the weapons had come from and what we were thinking hours before our investigation had been completed. Indeed they are ahead of the game. Currently, we are looking into how the ABBS News knew about last night's incident."
Prince Hollmitch of the Ministry of Justice said in a released written statement:
"The weapons seized earlier tonight were X-8 assault rifles, the same weapon the Beejayan Military uses. We can confirm that these weapons were made in Beejaya, however at this time we can not confirm who paid for these weapons other than it has definitely been paid for by persons outside the Grand Duchy of Beejaya."
In other news, checkpoints have been set up at the border by the Beejayan Military. All cars and trucks are being stopped and search to check for weapons. At this time, no weapons have been found but it is advised that anyone who plans to come to Beejaya to expect delays.
Later today, the Former Prime Minister will be transported to a neutral country where her final status will be determined. The military of Beejaya remains on high alert today until the transport has been completed.

The SNQ Delegation Assembly
Ambassador Eleleth from AkebonoBambusa stands up.
I would like to announce the successful transportation of Prime Minister Demming to the Colony of Quagmire without incident. We would like to wash our hands of matter but for one important incident. While we think the region as a whole should not overlook the claims of torture, it seems to be the Prime Minister vs. the Grand Duke on that issue. What we remain concerned about is the Prime Minister's attack on the protesters. This should be grounds for imprisonment. But, our own ambassador has witnessed one of these protester mobs himself and is not entirely convinced of their civilian nature. If it would turn out that these were millitary supporters of the Grand Duke we would have to take that into account. It is the difference between firing on unarmed citizens and defending against a millitary coup.
Thank You
The ambassador goes back to his seat.

::Duchess Celeya stands and is recognized by the foreman to speak.::
Delegates. May I present the Grand Duke of Beejaya.
:: Enters Grand Duke Berkley, wearing a royal uniform of the Beejayan Military. At the door two bodyguards, also dressed rather nicely wait for him. The Grand Duke clears his throat before he speaks. :
On behalf all of Beejaya, I would like to thank AkebonoBambusa for the apprehension of the Former Prime Minister and preventing her from escaping again. Please note that our border security will still remain high as we do not want any supports of the former Prime Minister to enter your country and cause trouble because of your assistance. In regards of Ms. Demming, we believe this is an internal matter. We would like her transfered to our armed forces so we can bring her back to Beejaya. It would be simple to free her or exile her, but her constant calls for the overthrow of the legal government of Beejaya, is unacceptable.
I await the decision of this delegation.
::The Grand Duke leaves and sits down next to Duchess Celeya, waiting for the discussion to begin. He appears confident that the body will rule in his favor, as no one would want to endorse a terrorist::

This is Adelle Ascherin, Channel 7 news.
Consultations continue here at the Colony of Quagmire on the final status of Former Prime Minister Demming. The Grand Duke himself is overseeing the negotiations. Security is heavy here and reporters are relying on official statements and sources within the prison to see what is going on. Unnamed sources close to the Grand Duke say that the mood inside is tense, but that he is hopeful that the former Prime Minister will be returned to Beejayan custody.
We can confirm that at the airport a A400m "Long Arm" transport is fueled and on standby in case she is released. Also on the runway are a half dozen SU-47 "Halberds" for escort.
Once a decision is made, Channel 7 news on the final status of Former Prime Minister Demming.
