A letter from Akebono
I light of recent events I Akebono wish to encourage the Grand Duke of Beejaya to open our shared border back to the former state before the incident. Our position in the dispute was justice and was not meant to be a national attack on Beejaya, her people, or her economy. In an effort to promote regional stability and create new links between our two countries I would like to formally declare our borders open, so that no citizen of either country shall be hampered in any way at its crossing, especially in this holiday season.
If you feel the same let us not hesitate.
Yours in Peace Akebono

To The Most Honorable Akebono,
While I share your wishes for an open border, at this time I can not immediately grant your request. Due to the recent incident, certain factions within Beejaya seek to lash out at those who have contributed to the imprisonment of Former Prime Minister Beejaya. As a precaution to spare your nation from any violence that may erupt, I have ordered the military to setup check points along our border to prevent any illegal activities. While citizens are free to cross from your nation to our nation, those wishing to leave Beejaya will pass through security checks. Once the tension has lessen, I see no reason to keep these security checks.
Thank you for your concern,
With Respects,
Grand Duke Berkley
